Use magic in your url!
Lets assume you need a payment form to sell e-books. You have different e-books with different prices. However, your payment form for all this e-books needs to be the same.
To create 1 form for this purpose, we explain here how to do this very easily in Peggy Forms.
1. The form
We start with this very basic payment form with 2 price fields. One for each E-book we want to sell:
2. The hidden magic
Now we need an hidden text input for our rules. We add a singleline textfield and set Input type to hidden and set the label and name to your needs. These are only visible in the editor. We set the field name to 'ebook'. This will be a part of the url as you can see later on in this how to:
Now we need to explain 2 things. How do we fill this field via the url and how to attach the one pricefield with a ebook
3. Attach the price fields to an url
Select the first price field and add a new rule to include this price only if the value in the urp parameter field equals 'our-secret-link-ebook-1'.
Do this also for the other price field with another Match Value, like: 'our-secret-link-ebook-2'. You can do this easily by clicking on the Add existing rule button and copy the rule.
This was the hardest part, easy isn`t it? If you view your form, you will see that there is no 1 price or e-book shown. And if you applied all the Form tips quick fixes, the submit button will be disabled too.
4. The url
To use this form, add a small part to your url. We assume that you named all the things like we did in this how to.
To access the form for E-book 1 add ?value-ebook=our-secret-link-ebook-1 to your url. Like: /1b04a416/standalone?value-ebook=our-secret-link-ebook-1
You also can go to the [Share] tab, choose Embed type standalone and check the Define predefined values. In this example form, the one only text field is shown and you easily can fill in your secret code:
And you`ll see the generated url below you can use and share. The same can be done for embedded forms or iframed forms.
